Hi there, my name is Jessica Boff, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Addiction Professional, & trained EMDR therapist. I live in sunny South Florida & have been working in substance abuse treatment centers for 6 years now.

Among the thousands of people I’ve worked with, I’ve come to find a common theme with people: low self-worth. I’ve concluded that in general, people don’t really like at least some of who they are, what they look like, where they are in life, how they move, the mistakes they have made, their nose. etc. Working in the health care field, I am no stranger to the current availability & affordability of mental health services in the United States. So I created my business with the sole purpose of providing education of mental health issues.

My Vision for You—

Let me be the first to say that I am no stranger to the feeling of low self-esteem. I entered the helping field because I have this calling to help people feel better in general, & live up to the awesome human being that I know you are! Addressing low self-esteem is a very difficult decision & journey because you may not think it is possible or that you even deserve to make changes. Well I’m here to tell you that YOU DESERVE TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOU! It is absolutely possible, but not easy. This is why I’m here! Again, I’m proud that you have chosen this journey…

You’re worth it!

My Story

I wound up in South Florida after I made the decision to get my Master’s degree outside of Colorado. I was born and raised in Colorado, and at age 22, I realized that I needed a major life change. And what better way to do this than to move to the other side of the country??

After about a year of living in South Florida, I found myself working as a behavioral health technician at a state-run detox and rehab. After this, I completed my school internship in an inpatient hospital setting rehab, where I learned how anxious and scared of people I actually was.jess photo 117

As fate would have it, I moved along, earned my degree and stayed in the substance abuse field. Through this journey, I have learned more about myself than most people do in two lifetimes. Finally, I believe that it is my duty as a human being to pass along what I learn from life to those still learning. Hence the blog!

In my blog, I get real, raw and vulnerable about some of my struggles and my growing pains in my spiritual and mental health journey. My hope is to break the stigma surrounding mental health, and let everyone know that we all struggle, no matter what walk of life!
